I placed an order for heating oil a week ago Thursday and understood it was a two-week delivery schedule. Belatedly I checked the tank level and rang back a short while later to ask whether there was some way I could arrange for an earlier delivery as we were almost out. The very helpful lady I spoke to offered to mark the order as Urgent, which was very kind of her. The oil arrived the following Tuesday in appalling and worsening weather conditions – the start of the chaos we have all endured.
